On April 3, 2008, Massena Rescue, along with Massena Fire, Village of Massena Police Department, along with other agencies, responded to a motor vehicle accident at Route 37 and Parker Avenue, near the Dairy Queen.  Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead on scene.  The vehicle was a pick-up truck, and the accident was determined to be a low-speed collision with the bridge abutment.  The white stuff on the ground isn't snow, its a foam used by the fire department to put out the fire.
